Avi Krawitz is the senior analyst at the Rapaport Group, providing high-level editorial content and analysis about the diamond market, as well as project management, consulting, and strategic planning services. With over 15 years’ experience as a market analyst and journalist, Avi’s research reports and opinion pieces have a loyal following in both the diamond and jewelry trade and the investment community. He is also a sought-after speaker, presenting on matters that are vital to businesses navigating the dynamic landscape of the diamond and jewelry trade.

Graham Wetzbarger, is Founder and CEO of Luxury Appraisals & Authentication. He has over 15 years of experience in the authenticated luxury resale marketplace specializing in the identification, authentication, and valuation of designer fashion. Graham has been a member of Appraisers Association of America since 2017, serves as Vice President of Technology for the Costume Society of America, and is a member of the International Trademark Association.

Ken Specht is an active member of The National Association of Watch & Clock Collectors and a Charter member of both the International Watch & Jewelers Guild and Floor Traders Association. He established The Specht Sheet watch pricing guide 31 years ago and has co-authored several horology books. He also established the first serial production numbers dating system for Rolex Oyster watches and has given many seminars on Rolex watches, including an educational seminar for Sotheby’s, which was attended by dealers and collectors from all over the world. Gave the Rolex section for the first wristwatch only educational seminar for NAWCC. Has served an expert witness in both Federal and State Courts and valued watches for both the United States Customs, and Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and is certified as a watch expert for the state of Florida.

Duncan Parker, previously, director of research at Harold Weinstein Ltd., a leading and respected jewellery appraisal company, Duncan has advised innumerable clients on the disposition of personal jewellery. Duncan is a columnist and contributor for industry magazines and journals. He has been an instructor of the gemstone course at Ryerson University, the Gemmology courses of George Brown College and Canadian Gemmological Association as well as instructor Master Valuer Program with the Canadian Jewellers Association. A renowned expert, he speaks regularly at international gem and jewellery conferences and symposiums, as well as at less formal events. He has served as President of the Canadian Gemmological Association since 1995. Duncan Parker is also an author of many articles in Canadian Jeweller, Jewellery Business and Canadian Gemmologist magazines.

Charles Carmona is a Graduate Gemologist (GIA, 1978) and an Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA, 1986). He established Guild Laboratories in Los Angeles in 1980 and serves clients with gemstone testing and grading services and jewelry, gemstone, watch and numismatic appraisals. He has been a consultant for the World Bank and regularly performs appraisals for federal, state and local agencies, as well as the gem and jewelry trade, museums, banks, accountants, attorneys and the general public. He is a noted author and speaker and has led gem mining trips to Brazil, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Madagascar and numerous U.S. locations.

Michelle Impey is Assistant Vice President, Fine Art & Collections Manager at Chubb. Michelle has over 20 years of art and insurance industry experience. As Fine Art & Collections Manager, she oversees the team of risk consulting specialists who deliver collection management services across the country. She is responsible for providing expert loss prevention advice and consultative services with respect to the display, transportation, appraisal, and storage of fine art, wine, jewelry, and other valuables. To address the evolving needs of collectors, she offers collection risk assessments, valuation reviews, and referrals to specialized service providers. She also keeps agents, brokers, and clients informed on current trends affecting the fine art and private collections markets.

Don Palmieri is an Internationally recognized gems and jewelry forensic expert, appraiser, publisher, consultant, Chapter 11 and Liquidating Trustee and broker and President and founder (2001) of Gem Certification & Assurance Lab, Inc. GCAL is the only diamond and gemstone ISO 17025 Accredited Forensic Laboratory in the world. Palmieri is also Chairman of Gemprint Corporation, the world leader in diamond identification technology systems. Mr. Palmieri has worked in all levels of the jewelry and gemstone profession during his 50-year career. His expertise is frequently sought by banks, museums, foundations, insurance companies, the jewelry trade – both wholesale and retail, law firms, accounting firms and individuals as jewelry authenticity, quality and value comes into question, and has been called upon to testify as an expert witness in major court cases throughout the world. He is a Graduate Gemologist (GIA), Senior Member, Master Gemologist Appraiser® (American Society of Appraisers) and has served in numerous leadership roles with the ASA and AGA.

Teri Brossmer, GIA GG, ASA, ARM-GJ, Master Gemologist Appraiser, AQB Certified USPAP Instructor, is President at Gem Appraisals Unlimited, LLC. She has over 40 years of experience in appraising, specializing in gems and jewelry. Ms. Brossmer has been a designated member of ASA for 17 of years, and an active volunteer with numerous leadership positions, including most notably serving as Chair and Education Chair of the ASA Gems and Jewelry Discipline and President of the Accredited Gemologists Association.

Cigdem Lule, PhD, FGA, GIA GG, is the owner of Kybele LLC. She has over 25 years of experience as a mineralogist and a gemologist, specializing in highly collectable mineral and gems, their identification and grading. Dr. Lule has been a candidate of ASA for four years.

Phillip Bosen is a veteran jewelry retail expert, having been involved with many different aspects of the business since 1982. Always paying close attention and implementing new and innovative ways to increase the functionality and profitability of the businesses he served has been a hallmark of his career. As a skilled presenter he engages, entertains and educates. The prime directive and mission of Bosen’s consultancy is to help those in the jewelry industry to improve their profitability, deploy sound business models and improve their quality of life.
