Q: What was the format of your chapter event?
A: It was an evening dinner at a local restaurant centrally located. We had a half hour cocktail reception (cash bar), dinner and then John spoke for approximately a half hour.

Q: Approximately how many members/guests attended?
A: There were approximately 25 attendees.

Q: Was there a special reason or need for the topic that was discussed?
A: This was an excellent opportunity for John to update us on the key areas he is working in government relations.

Q: Do you think that other chapters could benefit from the topic discussed, and if yes, how?
A: Yes, the other chapters need to be aware of what is going on in Washington, especially what regulators are doing and how it can affect our profession and practices. It is also important to know that ASA stays on top of these issues and why the ASA PAC is so important.

Q: How did your chapter market this event and do you believe your efforts were successful?
A: E-mails from the Chapter President were sent to members. Our attendance of 25 was a pretty good turnout for us, but for an event of this importance we would have liked to see more attendees.
